The OCZ Talos C Series a line of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) SSDs designed for enterprise applications that require ultra-fast, high capacity solutions equipped with multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash technology. Talos SAS SSDs are specifically optimized for enterprise storage applications and deliver superior performance and cost-savings to enterprise clients who require high transactional performance. Talos SAS series drives deliver both speed and high density with up to 30,000 random write IOPS and up to 960GB of storage, making it the highest capacity 6Gbps SAS solution on the market today.

The Talos SAS interface offers the benefits of interoperability and integration with existing SAS devices, flexibility for traditional storage environments, and the ability to scale greater amounts of drives, providing larger aggregate pools of storage. The drives also deliver exceptional bandwidth and world-class reliability features including superior endurance, encryption, and ECC protection.

Talos SAS drives leverage OCZ's unique Virtualized Controller Architecture (VCA) technology which provides customers with robust enterprise features including TRIM (SCSI unmap with SAS drives), SMART monitoring, native command queuing (NCQ), tagged command queuing (TCQ), power fail management, and wear-leveling; all within a single streamlined solution. With Talos and VCA technology, clients can now deploy an SSD solution that delivers superior application performance, all the necessary enterprise features, and substantial power savings, at a better overall total cost of ownership.

Available in a 3.5" form factor, Talos C Series SAS SSDs are available in 230GB to 960GB capacities to address the storage needs of various IT and professional infrastructures.
