iPod Shuffle:

The new, colorful, clip-and-go iPod shuffle. With buttons, VoiceOver, and playlists, it’s the very best of iPod shuffle.

Apple ShuffleSleek, polished aluminum. Five brilliant colors.
Its main body is crafted from a single piece of aluminum and polished to a beautiful shine, so the new iPod shuffle feels solid, sleek and durable. And the color palette makes it the perfect fashion accessory. Choose gleaming silver, blue, green, orange, or pink.

Hundreds of songs to go.
iPod shuffle isn’t just portable. It’s wearable, too. Clip it to your shirt, jacket, workout gear, backpack, or purse strap, and it stays put — whether you’re running an errand or running around the track. And yes, there’s still room for personalized engraving, only from the Apple Online Store.

Goes anywhere. And with anything.
iPod shuffle isn’t just portable. It’s wearable, too. Clip it to your shirt, jacket, workout gear, backpack, or purse strap, and it stays put — whether you’re running an errand or running around the track. And yes, there’s still room for personalized engraving, only from the Apple Online Store.

Control your music with just a click.
It’s back — the big, clickable control pad on the front of iPod shuffle. It’s 18 percent larger than on previous iPod shuffle models, so it’s even easier to see and use the music controls. Press the center button to play and pause. Press the outer buttons to skip forward or back and adjust volume. Click, click, click. It’s music to your fingers.

Play it your way.
Maybe you’re the spontaneous type. Or maybe you prefer a little order. Just flip the shuffle switch to suit your listening style. Flip it to the left, and you’ll hear your music in a refreshingly random way. Flip it to the middle, and your songs play in order. Or flip to the right to turn iPod shuffle off.

Apple Shuffle buttons

Give your songs a voice.
Say you’re listening to a song and want to know the title or the artist. Just press the new VoiceOver button on top of your iPod shuffle, and it tells you.3 You can even use VoiceOver to hear the names of playlists and switch between them. And if your battery needs charging, VoiceOver tells you that, too.

It speaks your language.
A French love song. A Spanish bolero. An Italian cantata. Your music library has songs from all over the world. That’s why VoiceOver speaks 25 different languages. So it can tell you song titles and artists in their native tongues or any language you choose.

Sync to your heart’s content.
iTunes on your Mac or PC makes it easy to load up your iPod shuffle. Just choose the playlists, audiobooks, podcasts, and other audio files you want, then sync.

When one playlist isn’t enough.
You probably have multiple playlists in iTunes on your computer. One for your commute. One for the gym. One for just chillaxing. Sync all those playlists to iPod shuffle, and you can play the perfect mix for whatever mood strikes you. VoiceOver tells you the name of each playlist, so it’s easy to switch between them and find the one you want without looking.

Genius comes to iPod shuffle.
There’s another way to get a good mix of music on iPod shuffle: Let Genius do the work. Activate Genius in iTunes on your computer, and it automatically finds songs that sound great together. Then it creates Genius Mixes, which you can easily sync to your iPod shuffle. It’s the perfect way to rediscover songs you haven’t listened to in, like, forever.

iPod Touch:

Advanced engineering at play.

Apple iPod TouchPioneering technology built into iPod touch is how you’re able to flick, tap, and pinch. It’s what makes a racing game feel so real. It’s why you’re able to see a friend crack up at your jokes from across the globe. And it’s the reason iPod touch is the most incredible iPod you’ll ever own.

Looks can be amazing. iPod touch has an all-new design that makes it the thinnest, lightest, most amazing iPod touch ever. Holding one is all the proof you need. With its curved design, iPod touch is now a mere 7.2 millimeters thin. Its engineered glass front and stainless steel back feel sleek and smooth in your hand. Turn it on, and you're instantly blown away by the brilliant Retina display. iPod touch is the perfect combination of stunning design and revolutionary technology — brilliant from the outside in.

Retina display. A blast from the future. There are lots of reasons you won’t want to take your eyes off the new iPod touch. The 960-by-640 backlit LCD display, for one. It packs 326 pixels per inch, making it the highest-resolution iPod screen ever. To achieve this, Apple engineers developed pixels so small — a mere 78 micrometers across — that the human eye can’t distinguish individual pixels. Even though you can’t see them, you’ll definitely notice the difference. Text is remarkably sharp and graphics are incredibly vivid.

Apple A4 chip. More power to you. The Apple A4 chip is behind, or rather underneath, all the fun you can have on iPod touch. Apple engineers designed the A4 chip to be a remarkably powerful yet remarkably power-efficient mobile processor. With it, iPod touch can easily perform complex jobs such as multitasking, editing video, and placing FaceTime calls. All while maximizing battery life. And fun.

Gyro + Accelerometer. Smooth moves. iPod touch just learned some new moves. It now includes a built-in three-axis gyroscope. When paired with the accelerometer, the gyro makes iPod touch capable of advanced motion sensing such as user acceleration, full 3D attitude, and rotation rate. Translation: More motion gestures and greater precision for an even better gaming experience.

Two Cameras. Double the fun. iPod touch captures video with two built-in cameras. It shoots amazing HD 720p video from the back camera. And with its advanced backside illumination sensor, it captures beautiful footage even in low-light settings. All while the built-in microphone records conversations, music, or any audio at the same time. And on the front of iPod touch, the built-in camera is perfect for making FaceTime calls1 and shooting self-portraits. It’s surprising how much fun can fit into something so small.

Multi-Touch. Control at your fingertips. When you put your finger on iPod touch, how does it just start doing what you want it to do? It’s a chain reaction, really. The Multi-Touch display layers a protective shield over a capacitive panel that senses your touch using electrical fields. It then transmits that information to the Retina display below it. So you can glide through albums with Cover Flow, flick through photos and enlarge them with a pinch, zoom in and out on a section of a web page, and control game elements precisely.

iPad:

It's hard to believe we could fit so many great ideas into something so thin.

Apple iPad PerformanceA large, high-resolution LED-backlit IPS display. An incredibly responsive Multi-Touch screen. And an amazingly powerful Apple-designed chip. All in a design that’s thin and light enough to take anywhere. iPad isn’t just the best device of its kind. It’s a whole new kind of device.

LED-Backlit IPS Display The high-resolution, 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS display on iPad is remarkably crisp and vivid. Which makes it perfect for web browsing, watching movies, or viewing photos. With iPad, there is no up or down. It’s designed to show off your content in portrait or landscape orientation with every turn. And because it uses a display technology called IPS (in-plane switching), it has a wide, 178° viewing angle. So you can hold it almost any way you want and still get a brilliant picture, with excellent color and contrast.

Multi-Touch The Multi-Touch screen on iPad is based on the same revolutionary technology on iPhone. But the technology has been completely reengineered for the larger iPad surface, making it extremely precise and responsive. So whether you’re zooming in on a map, flicking through your photos, or deleting an email, iPad responds with incredible accuracy. And it does just what you want it to.

Wireless With built-in 802.11n, iPad takes advantage of the fastest Wi-Fi networks. It automatically locates available Wi-Fi networks, which you can join with a few taps. iPad also comes with Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, letting you connect to devices like wireless headphones or the Apple Wireless Keyboard.

Performance The A4 chip inside iPad was custom-designed by Apple engineers to be extremely powerful yet extremely power efficient. The performance is unlike anything you’ve ever seen on a touch-based device. Which makes iPad fantastic for everything from productivity apps to games. At the same time, the A4 chip is so power efficient that it helps iPad get up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. And iPad is available with a choice of 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of flash storage,4 giving you lots of room for your photos, movies, music, apps, and more.

Thin and Light One of the first things you’ll notice about iPad is how thin and light it is. The screen is 9.7 inches measured diagonally. So overall, it’s slightly smaller than a magazine. At just 1.5 pounds and 0.5 inch thin,1 you can use it anywhere. And a slight curve to the back makes it easy to pick up and comfortable to hold.

  2. 4. 1GB = 1 billion bytes; actual formatted capacity less.

iPad 2:

There's more to it. And even less of it.

Apple iPad 2Two cameras for FaceTime and HD video recording. The dual-core A5 chip. The same 10-hour battery life.1 All in a thinner, lighter design. Now iPad is even more amazing. And even less like anything else.

Thinner, lighter, and full of great ideas.
Once you pick up iPad 2, it’ll be hard to put down. That’s the idea behind the all-new design. It’s 33 percent thinner and up to 15 percent lighter, so it feels even more comfortable in your hands.2 And it makes surfing the web, checking email, watching movies, and reading books so natural, you might forget there’s incredible technology under your fingers.

Dual-core A5 chip. It’s fast, times two.
Two powerful cores in one A5 chip mean iPad can do twice the work at once. You’ll notice the difference when you’re surfing the web, watching movies, making FaceTime video calls, gaming, and going from app to app to app. Multitasking is smoother, apps load faster, and everything just works better.

Superfast graphics. Go, gamers, go.
With up to nine times the graphics performance, gameplay on iPad is even smoother and more realistic. And faster graphics help apps perform better — especially those with video. You’ll see it when you’re scrolling through your photo library, editing video with iMovie, and viewing animations in Keynote.

Battery life keeps on going. So you can, too.
Even with the new thinner and lighter design, iPad has the same amazing 10-hour battery life.1 That’s enough juice for one flight across the ocean, or one movie-watching all-nighter, or a week’s commute across town. The power-efficient A5 chip and iOS keep battery life from fading away, so you can get carried away.

Two cameras. And a big hello to FaceTime for iPad.
You’ll see two cameras on iPad — one on the front and one on the back. They may be tiny, but they’re a big deal. They’re designed for FaceTime video calling, and they work together so you can talk to your favorite people and see them smile and laugh back at you.3 The front camera puts you and your friend face-to-face. Switch to the back camera during your video call to share where you are, who you’re with, or what’s going on around you. When you’re not using FaceTime, let the back camera roll if you see something movie-worthy. It’s HD, so whatever you shoot is a mini-masterpiece. And you can take wacky snapshots in Photo Booth. It’s the most fun a face can have.

Apple iPod iPad 2

iPad Smart Cover. Designed for iPad. And vice versa.
iPad 2 and the iPad Smart Cover are made for each other. Literally.4 We designed the iPad Smart Cover to work side-by-side with iPad — and on top and underneath it, too. Smart magnetic technology built into each really pulls them together. The iPad Smart Cover falls perfectly into place and stays put to protect your iPad screen, yet doesn’t add bulk to its thin, light design. Open the Smart Cover and your iPad wakes up instantly. Close it and your iPad goes to sleep automatically. And here’s another smart part: It transforms into the perfect movie-watching, game-playing, web-surfing stand. It comes in 10 bright colors — including five in rich, aniline-dyed Italian leather.5 Choose your favorite, and your iPad will be smart all around.

LED-backlit display.
The view is amazing. iPad is one big, beautiful display — 9.7 inches of high-resolution photos, movies, web pages, books, and more. LED backlighting makes everything you see remarkably crisp, vivid, and bright. Even in places with low light, like an airplane. And there’s no wrong way to hold iPad. It’s designed to show off everything in portrait and landscape, so with every turn (even upside down), the display adjusts to fit. Because it uses a display technology called IPS (in-plane switching), it has a wide, 178° viewing angle. Hold it up to someone across the room, or share it with someone sitting next to you, and everyone gets a brilliant view.

Multi-Touch. Everything’s at your fingertips.
Technology is at its best when it feels completely natural, almost like there’s no technology at all. That’s Multi-Touch on iPad. You use your fingers to do everything, so everything you do — surfing the web, typing email, reading books, and swiping through photos — is easier and a lot more fun. How does it work? When your fingers touch the display, it senses them using electrical fields. Then it instantly transforms your taps, swipes, pinches, and flicks into lifelike actions. Just like that.

iOS 4.
The world’s most advanced mobile operating system. iOS 4 is the operating system for iPad (along with iPhone and iPod touch). It lets you browse, read, and see everything just by touching the screen. It includes all the powerful, innovative, and fun built-in apps you use every day, many times a day. And it’s the platform on which more than 65,000 other amazing apps have been created for iPad. It’s highly secure, stable, and responsive, and it’s made to work seamlessly with the iPad hardware. iOS 4 is the reason no other device has yet come close to iPad.

Instant On. The fun starts fast.
Pick up your iPad, press the Home button, and it wakes from sleep instantly. That’s because iPad features fast, efficient, and reliable flash storage that lets you access data quickly. So everything effortlessly springs to life.

Wi-Fi and 3G. Two great ways to stay connected.
Every iPad is built with advanced 802.11n wireless technology. It automatically finds Wi-Fi networks, which you can join with a few taps. iPad is also available with 3G connectivity on either AT&T or Verizon Wireless networks. So if you’re somewhere without Wi-Fi, such as outdoors on a camping trip or on the road, you can still surf the web, check email, or get directions.6 Learn more about Wi-Fi and 3G

Gyro, accelerometer, and compass. iPad knows your every move.
With the built-in accelerometer, you can rotate iPad to portrait or landscape, or even upside down, and whatever you’re watching, reading, or seeing adjusts to fit the display. And now the accelerometer, three-axis gyroscope, and compass all work together. They sense which direction iPad is heading and how it’s moving. So games, maps, and other apps know your every twist, turn, tilt, and 360. It’s an epic win for gaming. And it’s just the beginning of better-than-ever iPad apps.

Apple Mac MiniWith its sleek aluminum design, a removable bottom panel for easy access to memory, and a space-saving built-in power supply, Mac mini is pretty incredible. No matter how you look at it.

Full metal jacket. Mac mini features an all-new, 1.4-inch-thin aluminum enclosure. It’s called the unibody — a seamless enclosure carved from a single, solid block of aluminum. The unibody construction was originally developed for Apple’s MacBook Pro. It’s created using computer numerical control, or CNC, machines — the same kind used by the aerospace industry to build mission-critical spacecraft components. This ensures absolute precision of every component of the Mac mini enclosure. Not to mention a stunning aluminum fit and finish that will make any desk proud.

Size wise. It makes the most of every micron. You may notice something missing from this Mac mini: the power supply. Actually, its power supply is built in. So there’s no bulky brick, and there are fewer cables to connect. Which means Mac mini takes up even less space than before. A removable panel on the bottom of Mac mini makes upgrading the memory virtually painless. And once you’re inside, you’ll see how clean and organized Mac mini is. With attention paid to the tiniest detail. Like the air intake and vents. They’re practically invisible. And when the fan is running, you’ll barely hear it. It's kind of surprising how so much fits into something so mini.

Many ports. Major possibilities. Now Mac mini makes it easier than ever to hook up to an HDTV or digital display using the HDMI port and Mini DisplayPort. There’s also a built-in SD card slot so you can grab photos and videos from your digital still or video camera. And even though Mac mini is ultracompact, there’s no shortage of ports. Which means the possibilities are endless. When you connect your peripherals and devices to Mac mini, you’ll notice that even the back has been carefully considered. And on the front of Mac mini is the fast, slot-loading SuperDrive for playing DVDs and CDs — or burning your own.

The world’s most energy-efficient desktop computer. EPEAT Gold and Energy Star logos with a recycle symbol What Mac mini doesn’t do could be its biggest feat. It doesn’t waste energy. When Mac mini is idle, it consumes less than 10 watts — a 25 percent reduction from the previous generation.* No other desktop computer does that. Mac mini is made from highly recyclable aluminum. And its redesigned, lighter package makes it more efficient to ship.

MacBook Air:

Everything we've learned has come down to this.

Apple MacBookWe learned a lot from iPad. The new MacBook Air is proof. It’s designed around all-flash storage for better responsiveness and reliability. It features a trackpad with full Multi-Touch support. And though it’s incredibly thin and light, its large battery gives you portable power that lasts for hours.

Advanced technology from iPad. Taken to the air. A truly mobile device needs to be light, thin, and strong enough to take with you wherever you go. It also needs to perform quickly, spring to life instantly, and have enough battery power to keep up with you. It should have no spinning hard drive, no optical drive, and no unnecessary parts. All of that is true of iPad. And now, it’s true of Apple’s most mobile notebook ever: MacBook Air.

Out-of-the-box flash storage. MacBook Air continues its legacy of firsts with something entirely new for any Mac: flash storage. Standard. In fact, the new MacBook Air is designed completely around flash storage. But in a totally different way. Typically, flash storage is housed in a package that’s the same size as a conventional hard drive. Yet the flash chips themselves occupy a very small portion of that housing. Getting rid of the hard drive enclosure and using only the parts that matter — the actual flash chips — frees up about 90 percent more space. And just like that, there’s room for other important things, like a bigger battery. Now you have a notebook that weighs practically nothing and runs for hours on a single charge. That’s mobility mastered.

The best way to Multi-Touch on a notebook. No one knows Multi-Touch technology better than Apple. Introduced with the very first iPhone and taken even further with iPad, Multi-Touch is now part of practically every Apple device. It’s simply the best and most personal way to interact with your software. And the optimal way to experience Multi-Touch on a notebook is through a trackpad. That’s precisely the case with MacBook Air. Now you can perform more gestures than you have fingers on a spacious, all-glass surface that’s smooth to the touch.

An incredible battery. Case closed (or open). If you looked inside MacBook Air, you’d see something remarkable: how much space we devoted to the battery. Apple engineers were able to fit all the computer components on one of our smallest logic boards ever. Removing the flash storage enclosure and placing the flash chips on the logic board freed up even more room. And voila: space for a bigger battery. So you can get up to 5 hours of battery life on the 11-inch MacBook Air and up to 7 hours on the 13-inch model. And when you put MacBook Air to sleep for more than an hour, it enters what’s called standby mode. So you can come back to MacBook Air a day, a week — even up to an entire month later — and it wakes in an instant.1 Time is on your side, courtesy of MacBook Air.

Unbody in unision. When MacBook Air first debuted, it was groundbreaking in many ways. Chief among them was the precision unibody enclosure. Now that same engineering process comes to the MacBook Air display. Just like the main enclosure, the display housing is crafted from a single piece of aluminum, with all the structural elements machined directly into it. Total unibody construction means a less complex design with fewer parts. That makes MacBook Air exceptionally thin and light, yet still durable enough to handle the rigors of everyday use.

iMac:

The all-in-one that's one of a kind.

Apple iMacApple introduced the first iMac more than a decade ago. And the design philosophy remains the same: an all-in-one computer that's as powerful as it is beautiful.

Big, beautiful displays.

21.5-inch and 27-inch displays. Today's iMac has come a long way from the first 15-inch iMac. Take one look and you'll see just how far. A 21.5-inch or 27-inch display with edge-to-edge glass covers nearly the entire front of the enclosure. When all you see is the display, nothing gets between you and what's onscreen. Movies, TV shows, websites, photos — everything looks stunning on the 16:9 widescreen iMac display.

LED backlighting. When a display has more pixels, you need to push more light through them to achieve the best picture possible. LED backlighting in iMac does exactly that, with remarkable brightness and efficiency. Because the LED backlight doesn't take up much space, the iMac enclosure stays thin — even with all the high-performance components inside.

High resolution. The 21.5-inch iMac features 1920-by-1080 HD resolution. Apple engineers could simply have stretched that resolution up and out for the 27-inch iMac. Instead, they took the display well beyond HD with 2560-by-1440 resolution. That's 78 percent more pixels than the 21.5-inch iMac.

IPS technology. The iMac display is designed to look great from almost any angle. A technology called in-plane switching (IPS) makes this possible. Whether you're sitting in front of the display or standing off to the side, you'll get a great picture with superb color.

All-in-one simplicity.

Evolution of iMac. It was a great idea then, and it's a great idea now. The all-in-one design of the first flat-panel iMac cleaned up the desktop. It put everything you need — display, processor, graphics card, hard drive, optical drive, memory, and more — inside one simple enclosure. New technology on the inside makes the new iMac a worthy addition to the all-in-one dynasty.

Seamless enclosure. While you'll find a collection of ports on the back of iMac, you won't find much else. A seamless, precision-forged enclosure makes the back one continuous aluminum surface. And there's only one cord: the power cord.

Cool, quiet components. The widescreen iMac display allows more room to separate the two hottest components, the CPU and the GPU. This keeps things cool inside the iMac enclosure. Apple engineers also implemented an intelligent control system that monitors temperatures and delivers just the right amount of airflow to critical components. And the three fans inside iMac have been tuned to be ultraquiet. The result of all this tinkering with heat and sound? A system that operates at 18 decibels when idle — so quiet, you hardly know it's on.

Details that matter.

Edge-to-edge glass. The glass that surrounds the LED-backlit display wraps around the edge of the aluminum enclosure.

Tapered pedestal. Another victory over clutter, the finely tapered aluminum pedestal practically disappears on the desktop.

Redesigned speakers. New speakers deliver louder, clearer sound with better bass response and less distortion.

A tidier desktop.

Wireless keyboard and Magic Mouse included. Wireless keyboard and Magic Mouse included. iMac embodies simple design that eliminates desktop clutter. So naturally, it comes standard with the Apple Wireless Keyboard and the wireless Magic Mouse. You can also add the new Magic Trackpad.

Magic Mouse with Multi-Touch. Magic Mouse is designed to do all the things a mouse should do — pointing, clicking, and scrolling — but with no scroll wheel, no trackball, and no visible button. Magic Mouse uses Multi-Touch technology to let you click, scroll, or swipe anywhere on its perfectly smooth, seamless top shell. But the real magic of Magic Mouse is how it knows what you want to do. A chip inside Magic Mouse acts as a brain, detecting the difference between a resting hand, a scrolling finger, a two-finger swipe, and a simple click. It's the smartest mouse we've ever made

Apple TV:

Apple TVA lot of entertainment. In a very little box.

With Apple TV, everything you want to watch — movies, TV shows, photo slideshows, and more — plays wirelessly on your widescreen TV. No managing storage. No syncing to your iTunes library. HD movies and TV shows from iTunes and Netflix play over the Internet on your HDTV, and music and photos stream from your computer. All you have to do is click and watch.

With iCloud, you can browse and watch your purchased TV shows and listen to your previously purchased music.1 And with Photo Stream, your photos update automatically — no syncing, no sending.

Apple TV features a powerful A4 chip, so it plays everything effortlessly, without frozen screens or stutters. Videos look crisp and clear. And just like watching a DVD, you can fast-forward through opening credits, pause for a popcorn break, or replay a hilarious scene until you memorize every line.

Apple TV is quiet, energy efficient, and so small it fits in the palm of your hand. Which makes it perfect for sitting neatly on a TV stand or squeezing into a crowded media cabinet. And when it’s not filling your living room with drama, romance, and comedy, it uses less power than a night-light.

Intuitive interface.

Cruise through the simple Apple TV menus with the sleek, aluminum Apple Remote, included with every Apple TV. Choose from Movies, TV Shows, Music, Podcasts, Photos, Internet, and Settings menus with a click. The Apple TV interface takes full advantage of your widescreen TV, making it clear and easy to find whatever entertainment you’re in the mood for.

Get connected with Apple TV.

Setting up Apple TV is about as simple as it gets. Just plug the power cord into the wall and connect Apple TV to your widescreen TV using an HDMI cable (sold separately). Since everything streams wirelessly to Apple TV using your Wi-Fi network, that’s all you need. Well, that and a comfy couch.

Give your digital collection some airtime.

Home Sharing on your Apple TV makes sure those songs, movies, TV shows, and photos — even home videos — don’t have to stay on your computer. For maximum entertainment, stream your digital collection over the air to your Apple TV. Just don’t forget to call dibs on the recliner.
